NEW Regulatory Overdraft Changes May Affect Your Access to Cash.

Regulatory changes effective July 1, 2010 for new eligible personal checking accounts and August 13 for existing personal checking accounts may impact your ability to make one-time debit card purchases or make ATM withdrawals.
Overdraft service options for ATM and everyday debit card transactions can continue if you opt in now.

Today, Bridgewater Savings Bank's standard overdraft service for eligible personal checking accounts allows us to authorize and pay, at our discretion, transactions that would create an overdraft on your account.
Under the new rules, we must specifically obtain your consent to extend our overdraft services to your ATM withdrawal and one-time debit card transactions.
You can request that we extend this service to authorize and pay, at our discretion, your ATM and debit card overdrafts by opting-in to extended overdraft services.
| If your account was opened before July 1, 2010, you may have received a mail notification and a Response Code. If you have your Response Code, you may opt-in now. |

You can revoke your previous authorization to pay
overdrafts on ATM and everyday debit card transactions.
You may only use this method to revoke your authorization if you opted-in through this website, or returned your opt-in form. After you opted-in you should have received a confirmation letter in the mail containing a new Response Code. If you have your confirmation Response Code, you may revoke your authorization now.
