2019 Scholarship Recipients

RAYNHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, June 6, 2019. Peter Dello Russo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgewater Savings, has announced the recipients of 14 academic scholarships totaling $21,000 awarded recently to local students.

The scholarships were awarded to the following students: Louis Brechter, Coyle & Cassidy High School; Raegan Ferreira, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School; Katelyn Harrington, Middleboro High School; Maxwell Hayward, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School; Logan Heath, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School; Hannah Keough, Cardinal Spellman High School; Kathleen Lovell, East Bridgewater Jr/Sr High School; Alexandra Lynch, Pembroke High School; Jillian Melanson, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School; Evan Melo, Taunton High School; Rebecca Ramos, West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School; Andrew Rego, Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School; Matthew Santos; Apponequet Regional High School; and Samantha Shea, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School.

Several of the scholarship winners visited Bridgewater Savings’ corporate office in Raynham recently to meet with Peter Dello Russo, President and Chief Executive Officer and Thomas W. Rudolph, Bridgewater Savings Trustee and Scholarship Committee Co-Chair. “We are pleased to be able to award these bright young students with a scholarship and we hope that we can help them with financial needs in the future,” said Peter Dello Russo. “It’s always rewarding to give back to our customer base.” Scholarships are awarded to Bridgewater Savings Bank account holders based on several criteria including community involvement, academic accomplishment, and extracurricular and employment activities.
