RAYNHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, December 22, 2017. Bridgewater Savings Bank and the Bridgewater Savings Charitable Foundation are proud to announce the donation of $7,650 to local food banks this holiday season. During the month of December, Bridgewater Savings Bank sponsored an employee dress down day to collect non-perishable food items for local food banks. The food donated will help feed over 200 families throughout the area. The Bridgewater Savings Bank Charitable Foundation also made a financial donation to each food bank with proceeds from their Shred Day event, which occurred in October.

Also during the month of November, Bridgewater Savings pledged to donate $5 for every new page like received in the month of November. During the month, the BSB Facebook page received a total of 671 new likes which resulted in Bridgewater Savings donating $3,355 (split equally) to 10 food pantries in the surrounding communities.
