BSB Charitable Foundation Donates to EB HOPE

July 18, 2016

EB HOPE is a grass roots community coalition of local stakeholders with a mission to help, offer outreach, prevention, and education on substance abuse issues. The EB HOPE Outreach Drop-In Center is a safe, judgment free place for individuals and families suffering from the effects of a substance use disorder to gain knowledge, assistance, and peer support. The funds from the donation will be used to purchase technology to help the Outreach Center effectively evaluate the Drop-In program and provide insights on how to better assist those in need.

"An astounding number of people in our communities are suffering from substance use disorder," said James C. Lively, Bridgewater Savings CEO. "The work that Susan Silva, EB HOPE President and Executive Director, and the East Bridgewater Police Department provide is invaluable to those in need. We at Bridgewater Savings strive to help our communities by supporting programs such as this that help those suffering from opioid addiction and their families and friends that share their burden."
