Joseph W. Mitchell, Jr., Senior Vice President, receives the Presidential Volunteer Service Award

RAYNHAM, MASSACHUSETTS. April 19, 2016. Joseph W. Mitchell, Jr., Senior Vice President of Bridgewater Savings, has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for his work with Old Colony Elder Services in Massachusetts.

Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) supports the independence and dignity of elders and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy and safe living. Mitchell volunteers his time to the OCES Money Management Program in support of this mission. Money management volunteers assist elders who are at risk of losing their independence due to the inability to pay their bills on time. The volunteers meet with the elders on a regular basis to ensure that their finances are in order.
