RAYNHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, January 31, 2017. Bridgewater Savings Bank donated $1,700 to the Pembroke Association for the Performing Arts (P.A.P.A.).

P.A.P.A. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Performing Arts department at Pembroke High School. Their mission is to promote and maintain an enthusiastic interest in all phases of the performing arts program through volunteer and financial support. Over 20% of the student population is involved in the Performing Arts department. Through their yearly fundraising activities they have been able to finance scholarships to assist students pursuing private music lessons, scholarships for summer leaderships programs, 3 annual college scholarships for graduating seniors as well as capital purchases. The funds donated by Bridgewater Savings will be used to purchase a practice Cello for the orchestra.

"We recognize the value music plays in the lives of students in our communities," said Peter Dello Russo, Bridgewater Savings President and CEO. "We are happy to be able to help the students in the Pembroke Performing Arts department participate in area and regional events."
